Stop Blinking In Your Photos - Guaranteed Approach Developed By Professional Photographer
Do you want to eliminate blinking from your pictures? Sound preposterous? Impossible? That’s what I thought, so when I heard about a Blink Eradication System, I HAD TO REVIEW IT.
One of the biggest dilemmas for any photographer is no matter how hard we try, there’s never been a way to eradicate blinking, short of performing hours of post-production editing.
After getting my hands on a copy, I tested the heck out of it. There are 6 parts to this review…
I. What is Their Approach?
The Blink Eradication System uses a 2-Step Approach that can address any situation:
Step #1: Minimize Blinking Before the Pictures
They provide good photo tips in the following categories:
- Equipment set-up
- Preparing the environment
- Posing tips
- Preparing the subjects
Step #2: Eliminate Any Blinking After the Pictures
If any blinking made it into an image, their software tool would quickly eliminate it.
II. How Well Does It Work?
For Step #1, they do a better than average job; although, honestly, this step alone would not justify buying the Blink Eradication System.
However, Step #2 does, because of the SOFTWARE! Not only is it simple and quick to understand but it includes animated tutorials showing how to stop ruining one more photo from blinking. And, the software performed perfectly during the 15 times I used it.
III. Does the Blink Eradication System Work as Described?
The simple answer is a resounding “Yes.”
IV. Are There Any Drawbacks?
The major shortcoming I found is that the software will only operate on PCs that use the Windows XP operating system.
The primary reason I consider this major is because after using the Blink Eradication System, I believe most photographers would want to have their own. Unfortunately for MAC owners, they won’t be able to.
If you’re using Vista on your PC, the Blink Eradication System provides some good ideas for work-arounds.
V. Is the Blink Eradication System Worth the Cost?
If you only take landscape photographs, the answer is “no.” But if your photographic pleasure includes taking photographs of people, especially groups; the answer is a categorical YES for this inexpensive (under $30) system.
You’re receiving, a bargain. In addition to what has been mentioned, they throw in two “Cheat Sheets” listing everything to remember. One sheet is for Indoor, and one for Outdoors. Anyone who doesn’t have a photographic memory will find these helpful.
And, as is the custom of online digital offers, they provide several bonuses to sweeten the deal. And their bonuses actually provide some value.
Plus, if you do buy the Blink Eradication System, you risk nothing because of their 100% satisfaction guarantee. When I began the review, I had to keep it short. But, if you’re interested and want to see more, review the blink eradication system.
VI. Final Conclusion
The Blink Eradication System is a product that I wish I had 10 years ago. For what they’re charging, all I can say is get it before the price goes up. Additional products can be found here.

Calendar Trends In The Uk: Bournemouth, Poole & Manchester
It has come to that time of year where people are getting excited about the New Years Eve celebrations and the start of 2009. With the dawn of the year people are starting to turn their attention to getting themselves a new calendar for 2009. Calendars are a great present for the New Year and there are a wide range of calendars available that you can find one to suit anyones personality.
You usually find that you get the usual calendars with lingerie models, football teams, cute animals and more but in Britain we also have a habit of buying quirky and strange calendars. A calendar can represent the broad range of personalities that there are in the UK and the Calendar club regularly report on the surprising and not so surprising calendars that are a big hit.
Landscapes have always been a firm favourite and come in a variety of styles. You tend to get a lot of calendars that have photographs of the beautiful countryside in the UK and these tend to look like an advert for British walking holidays and seaside towns. There are so many examples of areas like Bournemouth beaches, people walking in the Cheshire meadows and english castles. You will also find metropolitain landscapes featuring many of the United Kingdom’s biggest cities and towns in some of the most popular streets in these locations. The capital, Liverpool and Manchester are typically featured as they have many famous points of interest and you also get to see all the Manchester restaurants and London taxis.
Calendars featuring artists are always popular whether they contain painted landscapes, photographs of people and places, portraits or abstract art. Artist calendars are either a group of artwork by a single artist or a selection of art prints by a range of artists. Beryl Cook is an extremely fashionable UK artist from Plymouth, that has a very popular calendar of Beryl Cook prints. Other UK born artists like Tim Bulmer and Doug Hyde also have their art featured in a collection of British artists work.
As for the quirky calendars, Britain has a vast history of buying and selling interesting calendars to raise money for charity. British people also have a habit of taking their clothes off and recent additions have been the naked farmers as well as the nude pictures of Women’s Institute members, which went on to become a film. In 2009 tractors are a popular theme, with one calendar having 365 different pictures of tractors, one for every day. Then there are the dogs practising their yoga and water skiing and goats too are a very popular calendar to have in 2009. The king of the calendars that sells by the bucket load each year and hasn’t been out of the top 10 for the past 25 years and that man is Cliff Richard!

Moreover, there is no need for you to pay for the processing costs involved with conventional cameras.
Great and Suitable Way for Beginners
Even if you are new to taking photos, digital photography is a good bet for you to get started with. Since you know that there won’t be any film wasted, you will find that you become better at experimenting with taking pictures. You can just delete the already-taken picture that you don’t like from your camera.
Rather than using a film, digital photography takes a memory card, meaning that you have total control over what you wish to keep on the card. The interesting fact is that a single card can take hundreds of photos at a time, thus you can enjoy all the profits of digital photography without the costs involved in processing.
Getting on Your Computer
You must have this kind of experience with your regular camera, when you realize that the pictures you thought as good turn to be looking rather unsatisfactory once they come back from the developer. Out of twenty-seven or so exposures, there might only be a dozen or so that you really desire to put in the photo album.
With digital photography, such thing won’t happen. You can soon see what the picture you have taken looks like by looking at it on the screen on your camera. If you like it, you keep it on the memory card and then download all the pictures you have taken onto your computer. As a consequence, digital photography often results in a bigger collection of photos than you would have otherwise. However, what you need to do is only keeping them all on your computer and then printing the ones you like directly on your own printer.
With digital photography, you will have much more control over how your finished photos turn out. You can do whatever you wish with this camera, whether you wish to print the pictures in normal sized or much larger (more like a poster). You can also play around with the colors and tones used. Digital photography is a new versatile and exciting way of taking photos. Don’t be surprised if once you start, you definitely won’t want to stop!

Art Photography Mimics Renaissance Paintings
It is often been said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so is the interpretation of art photography. What is pure art to many people may be considered nothing more than “dirty pictures” to others. Since the first pictures of females, wearing very little covering or nothing at all surface in the mid-1950’s the debate about what constitutes art photography or pornography has raged.
Court battles have pitted those who take the pictures and those who publish them against those who believe they are a violation of community standards. Most courts have sided with the photographers and publishers on an issue of free speech or free expression. Despite the continuing animosity against art photography and Become A Model, there is also a continued demand for the photos. They are the mainstay of many photo galleries and line the walls of art lovers who compare them to some of the famous nude pictures by famous artists.
Most art photography does not show genitalia or depict sexual activity, but the totally nude males and more often females, continue to spark debate. Recently, photographs of large groups of nude people of all walks of life and all sizes have been taken around the world and are being displayed as art photography in many major galleries.
Photographers Say Definition In Viewer’s Mind
Most photographers working in art photography content the context of the picture of Baby Models, as well as the thinking of those looking at the picture, is what makes some believe it is in pornographic in nature. One person can look at a nude picture and see art photography while another can look at the same picture and see a sexually suggestive image. It is this difference of opinion that has dogged the profession for years, made worse by a few who believe they can make money through pornography.
Most photographers view art photography much as the same as artists view painting and drawing nudes, which occurs in classes around the world. The human body with the right attitude behind the picture can be an art for in and of itself. They contend they are producing the same image, but are using a different media for its presentation.
Still, others believe that art photography and Model Posing is a form used to hide the intention of creating pornography and continue to fight its presence. However, as long as the battle has raged, there is no clear cut definition as to what differentiates art photography from pornography and it will remain in the eyes and mind of the beholder.

Why Should I Take Black And White Pictures?
Have you ever wondered why you would want to learn black and white photography tips in a world of color? In spite of the incredible popularity of digital color photography, there will always be room for black and white photography.
The elegance and timelessness of black and white photography insures its continual popularity. The fact is that more and more people are becoming interested in black and white photography for many reasons…
When used correctly, black and white photographs:
- Produce a clean, crisp look
- Transforms a dingy or overcast look into a striking photo evoking emotion
- Accentuate the depth of the photograph
- Heighten the emotional impact
- Have a tendency to make photos look more like works of art
Emotional Scenes
Very powerful, emotional, or moving photographs often look better as black and white photographs than in color. For example, here is a candid taken at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. from 100 feet away.
Like most digital photographs, this one was first viewed as a color image. However, the emotional impact was lacking. By processing the same exact photo in black and white, the desired effect was achieved.
Keep in mind that when you have a highly emotional or poignant subject, try to also view it in black and white.
Relationship Portraits
Probably the most popular application for black and white photographs is with a single subject. Here is a photographic paradox: On the one hand, “Photography” per say, has very few absolute rules.
For example, there is not a specific “category” of pictures that looks better in black and white. However, black and white photographs of babies and children often look quite inspirational.
Although there is a “formal/big occasion” aura surrounding black and white photography, there’s no reason to ignore it when taking everyday photos. If you are unsure, take the photo in color AND black and white; then you be the judge.
Everyday Magic!
A basic (but valid) rule in photography is to always have your camera with you. Why? Because you never know what or where photo opportunities will exist. (It’s that photographic Murphy’s Law thing.) In fact, sometimes you won’t even realize that a photograph is really good until after you download it and start to play with the photograph.
This process demonstrates how to transform and crop an average color photograph into a powerful black and white image.
By cropping most photos, you can more precisely determine where your viewer’s focus will go. That may not be as important when taking portraits of single subjects; however, it’s true power can be seen in group photographs and landscapes.
Once cropping becomes second nature to you, it might seem like the ultimate panacea. Unfortunately, there is one potential pitfall with cropping. Read about that pitfall here, as well as how to use a photographic technique that guarantees your cropped images will turn out perfectly.

Get Useful Advice - Canvas Stretching for Painting
Beginners Oil Painting Tips and Advice - Canvas Stretching
If you find that commercial pre-stretched canvas is too expensive or if you are just interested, you can make your own canvases. You can buy rolls of primed or raw canvas in various sizes and qualities. Once bought, the first thing to do is to stretch a canvas of a desired size using stretcher bars.
The stretching process is fairly straightforward. You will need to buy stretcher bars. You can find them in any serious art supply store or on the Internet. Stretcher bars have tongue-and-groove corners and are usually 1.25 or 2.5 inches wide. You can order them in various lengths up to 72 inches.
To make one canvas you will need 2 sets of 2 equal bars. All four bars should fit together tightly and no nails are used. After you have assembled the stretcher, use a T-square to check if the four corners are square.
Now, stretching a piece of canvas involves the following steps:
1) Center the stretcher on top of a piece of canvas that is 1.5 inches larger that the stretcher on all sides.
2) Fold the canvas around a set of two opposing bars. Using a tack fasten one side of the canvas to the center of the bar.
Then stretch the canvas by hand or with canvas pliers and tack the other side in the middle of the other bar. A straight line in the form of a crease running from one tack to the other should now be visible.
3) Next, repeat the procedure of 2) with the two other opposing sides of the canvas. A diamond shaped pattern should now be visible.
4) From here on, you continue from the middle of one of the bars and add a tack every 3 inches or so until you reach the corners. At the corners, nicely fold one end of the canvas under the other end and fasten this corner piece onto the bar with another tack.
Do not trim excess canvas. Instead, fold it over the back of the stretcher and tack it down just in case you need to re-stretch the canvas in the future.
5) If you notice any wrinkles in the canvas, you can remove one or two tacks in the right places, pull the canvas taut, and replace the tacks.
6) Usually the stretcher bars come with a set of so-called keys, i.e., small wooden wedges. These keys fit into slots at the inner corners of the stretchers and if necessary will further tighten the canvas. However, it is best to wait and see if the canvas actually slackens over time. If so you can pound the keys into slots at that time.
Note that nowadays, most artists use staples and a staple gun to fix the canvas to the stretcher. This approach is quicker and more convenient. However, for the sake of permanence and stability, it is still a good idea to use a regular tack in the middle of each of the bars.
Finally, when a painting is finished you may want to loosely place a sheet of cardboard inside the back of the stretcher. This will protect the back of your canvas.
Once you are used to the procedure, stretching a canvas goes fairly quickly. It is quite a bit cheaper than buying pre-stretched canvas. However, there still remains the task of priming the canvas in case you bought a roll of raw canvas. But, as far as stretching a canvas in concerned, this is all there is to it.
